History

Superman: Ride of Steel (1999-2007)

Construction on Superman - Ride of Steel began in December 1998.[1]

Superman: Ride of Steel opened to the public on May 15, 1999.

Ride of Steel (2008-present)

For the 2008 season, all theming relating to Superman was removed, and the name was renamed to "Ride of Steel".
