Franklin Eugene “Gene” Patrick (July 16, 1940September 8, 2012)[1] was an early contributor to Six Flags Over Texas. He wrote the first campus revues in 1962 and performed in many of the shows. He was also part of the creative team on The Cave and designed the 1967 version of Tales of the Okefenokee. Patrick wrote "The Carousel Song" and produced the Demon queue line audio loop for then Marriott's Great America (now Six Flags Great America) and "The Carowinds Song" for Carowinds. Gene and his company worked on producing the music and shows for Six Flags Power Plant.
