Paramount Parks was a chain of theme parks operated by the media conglomerate CBS Corporation (formerly Viacom). Looking to exit the amusement park business, its parks were sold to Cedar Fair in 2006 for $1.24 billion.[1]

Events
- Fearfest — Paramount's own Halloween event was established in 2000 to compete with Six Flags' Fright Fest. After acquisition by Cedar Fair, the Fearfest events were rebranded to Halloween Haunt.[2]
- WinterFest — Paramount's holiday event was originally held in 2005 at Paramount's Carowinds and Paramount's Kings Island.[3][4] It was later revived by Cedar Fair, starting with California's Great America in 2016.[5]
