Intamin Amusement Rides is a design and manufacturing company headquartered in Schaan, Liechtenstein.

History

Intamin was founded in 1967 by Robert Spieldiener, Reinhold Spieldiener, and Alfons Saiko in Bern, Switzerland. The name is an abbreviation for International Amusement Installations. The company was responsible for pioneering several new categories of rides.[1]

Attractions

River rapids

Six Flags and Intamin AG partnered on six different river rapids rides in the early 1980s. Other attractions at parks that have since been acquired by Six Flags include Calico River Rapids, Raging River, and The Gully Washer.
